I'd like to know what is the Analyze Tool?
The Analyze tool helps you discover trends and patterns in your search
results. You can find out exactly who the top authors are within your area
of interest - the top institutions - the journals publishing most
of the information you seek - and more. And you'll be able to see
broad trends that indicate what topics are currently hot, and trace the
history of particular areas of study.

I'd like to know what is cited reference
searching?
Cited reference searching lets you use a reference's citations to identify
more articles on the same topic. You can search the author's citations to

I'd like to know how to use RSS feed with
ISI Web of Knowledge?
RSS or ‘Really Simple Syndication’ is a feature in ISI
Web of Knowledge allowing users to receive the most current
information relevant to their research interests. RSS comes in the form
of an XML feed which users input into a separate RSS reader/aggregator
allowing them to receive their search results/alerts directly. Users
can set up RSS feeds for Saved Searches, Table of Contents Alerts and
for Citation Alerts. The feed contains author, title, and source
information, as well as URL links to the full record.
For a very nice summary of how RSS can be used in an academic library
environment, we suggest you read Using RSS to increase user awareness of e-resources
in academic libraries by Jay Bhatt of Drexel University.
To set up RSS feeds from ISI Web of Knowledge, you will need an
RSS reader/aggregator. There are many different types of RSS
readers/aggregators available. They are available in both free and
fee-based online and downloadable software programs. It is best to do
some research to determine the best RSS reader for you based on your
needs. Please note that we support RSS 2.0 standard. Any reader
compliant with this standard should be acceptable. We do not support
other standards such as RSS 1.0 or ATOM. You do not need to be
registered with ISI Web of Knowledge to receive RSS feeds, but
in order to link through to the sources within a database, you will
need to have the proper entitlements.
You can find a list of RSS Readers by platform type at http://allrss.com/rssreaders.html
